Facebook Featured Image Feed

  I post from this site weekly. Twitter and LinkedIn feeds reflect the Featured Image I embed in the post – but for the last three or four weeks, the Facebook feed picks up the previous week’s image. Was there a change in the way WordPress interfaces with Facebook lately? Anybody else experiencing this issue? How do I fix it?

  Hi there,

  Know that we have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

  Thank you – I suspected that, since it was only Facebook that displayed the wrong image, it was a Facebook problem. But their first line of defense is to push the user back to the original app…so.
