Facebook feed on Website

    Hi,

We had our website developed by someone so I don’t know what theme etc. It is a static page and had our facebook page feed in the middle column. This has disappeared (potentially due to some updates). I can get the coding from facebook to put it back on the site but I don’t know how to get it back the the middle postion. I only have the main left and main right sections. Can someone help please? We’re being told we need to buy a plug in but I ‘m not sure this is necessary and would like to learn how to edit our site myself. I need a dummies guide if possible.

    Thanks

    hi,

Can you tell us your site url ?

Here is the support document on how to make the best use of this forum:

  • Hi there,

It sounds like you are using the self-hosted WordPress software found on WordPress.org. You also don’t appear to own any sites here on WordPress.com, so we are not able to help you with this.

In fact, there is really no way to tell what theme your site used to have if that theme is no longer active on your site. I’d recommend contacting your hosting provider – perhaps they keep automatic backups of your site and can help you restore one. But otherwise you’ll need to contact the person who helped you make the site to start with.

For general help with the WordPress software you’re using you can ask in https://wordpress.org/support/, but I don’t think they’ll be able to help you with this particular issue.
