Facebook Feed – Shared Posts Missing

I use the publicize feature in WordPress to share my blog posts to Facebook. Today I noticed that all of the blog posts that had been publicized to Facebook previously are gone from my feed, including the latest which was publicized on Jul 2. I checked to confirm that Facebook was still connected to my WordPress.com blog and it is. What do I do?

So the posts disappeared from your Facebook feed after they had already been shared on Facebook? In that case you need to contact Facebook, because they are the only ones who would have been able to remove those posts.
Publicize gives us the ability to post new content on your feed, but we have no ability whatsoever to remove content from there. Only Facebook has that ability. Publicize being disconnected would only prevent new posts from being shared. It cannot remove posts that had already been shared.

Yes, they disappeared after they had already been shared. One quick question: I recently transferred my domain name from another provider to WordPress. My blog had been hosted by you for a long time, but the actual domain name was with someone else until June. Would the transfer have had any impact on previous posts to Facebook? I can’t imagine why, but it’s the only thing that has changed recently.

I can’t think that transferring your domain would have any effect on this, no. There’s no way Facebook would even know that you’d done that, and it’s certainly not against their terms of service.
Please contact Facebook support directly to find out why they removed those shared posts. I’m afraid we’re not able to help with this.
