Facebook Follow Button

  I have not been successful finding the code for a Facebook follow button to add to my blog page. (I already have the Facebook share button.) Everything I have found involves plug-ins, which I can’t use. Can wordpress.com bloggers use this button?

  Hi there! There are a lot of different ways you can have Facebook appear on your blog. Here is a link describing each one:

  I think what you are looking for is how to add a widget to your sidebar so people can like your Facebook page. To do this go to Appearance > Widgets and find the Facebook Page Plugin widget on the Available Widgets section. Click on it and there will be options to configure the widget. You just enter your Facebook page link and configure a few customizable settings and you should be in business.

  I was under the mistaken impression that I couldn’t use a plugin because I use wordpress.com, not .org. Apparently that is not the case, and I successfully added the widget following your instructions.
