Facebook friend finder

I’m so new at this so I apologize if this is a repeated question. I found where many had asked this question but I couldn’t find a definitive answer. I want an anonymous blog, I bought the private registration, but then I did a stupid thing and looked at the friend finder. Now it shows facebook is connected. I removed WordPress from my facebook account, but wordpress stil says “connected” for facebook. I want to make sure that if any friends in the future use the friend finder, my blog does not show up for them.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Holy hell, that’s a monstrous problem. Be careful, too, with Google Plus. NEVER use the same email for your WP.com blog and your Google Plus account if you want to remain anonymous.

I am not sure that anyone can help you, but I will flag this for staff attention. If anyone can help you, they can.

Thanks so much for the quick reply and the advice! I was hoping to avoid having yet another email account to keep track of, but better safe than sorry! Appreciate the help.

It doesn’t look like any social network is connected to your blog now.

However, if you use the same email address for Facebook and WordPress.com (even more so if it’s a Gmail account) these things have a way of becoming connected even if you don’t intend for them to be.

If you truly want an anonymous blog that cannot be traced back to you, I’d create a new email account and use it to create a new user on WordPress.com. You can then log in under your kmaramarie account and add this new user as an administrator on your blog, and then remove your kmaramarie account. If you let me know, I can even make the new account the new owner – post here that you want to do so and I can follow up with you privately so you don’t have to give your new username out publicly.
