Facebook-generated comments

  I’m getting lots of Facebook-generated comments that seem misplaced. Most make sense but are not relevant to my posts. A few have been inappropriate. ALL are coming out of Facebook. This activity just started a couple of days ago. I’ve changed my settings so I’m now moderating all newcomers’ comments. Akismet isn’t stopping these irrelevant comments. The ones that make sense seem to be meant for somebody else’s blog.

  I’ve searched Help and looked at the Forums, but I don’t see anything that addresses this issue directly. I appreciate your help.

  Hi there,

  We’ve seen a few issues with this (legitimate comments from Facebook going to the wrong blog). The only resolution we’ve found is for the user of the blog to just mark these as spam, and after a short time, the situation rights again.
