Facebook Groups and Events

    I am finding a lot of things about Facebook pages, Facebook icons, etc but nothing about groups and events. Facebook pages are worthless these days. Is there anything where you can simply link a Facebook icon to a group instead of a page or username? Also, is there any way to include Facebook events in some type of widget or plugin on a site? We’d ideally like to have events on both Google calendar (I found info on that) as well as Facebook.

    Hi there,

    You’ll be able to link to a Facebook group, but you’ll need to do so manually by uploading your own icon and adding it with a link via an image or text widget.

    We don’t have any widgets for Facebook events. The Facebook widget we have available is Facebook’s own page plugin, but they don’t offer something similar for events, so there’s no way for us to add it on this end. We can only add here what is allowed by their API and the tools they make available from their side.
