Facebook Icon on Social Menu
-
I deleted the Facebook option from my social menu when I was originally setting up my site but now I cannot add it back on. Right now it shows Instagram and Pinterest. Is there a way to start over or add Facebook back in?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there!
Yes, you can edit your social icons menu in Customize > Menus > Social.
This page has details on configuring the menu in case you need it: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/
Let me know if you have any questions! :)

Thanks, I will try revisiting it. I currently have the social menu set up with Pinterest and Instagram but I accidently deleted the Facebook icon and I don’t know how to add it back. If that makes sense.

You’re welcome!
Yes, I saw those. The directions I posted will take you to where those are added currently so you can add the Facebook one too.

Ok I finally got around to taking another look but I think I messed it up. There was a box when I originally set up the social menu for Facebook and I unchecked it and now it’s gone. Then I thought maybe if I deleted the social menu and tried adding a new one I could start over but now everything is gone. When I try to add a social menu it’s complete blank and it wants me to connect to old posts, tags or menu options.

Okay, I see your whole social links menu is gone now, so you’ll need to create a new one on wordpress.com/menus
The steps for creating a social menu are here if needed: https://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/social-links-menu/
Once you have your menu setup, be sure to check the box in the menu area to assign the social menu to be the “Social Links” menu location.
