Do you mean that when you post to Facebook your are seeing a thumbnail image of the WordPress icon? if so then other have reported this as well. The long and short of it is manually posting to FB via your Sharing buttons works and allows you to choose the image. If you have FB sharing enabled, just click the FB button on your post and you get a pop-up page of FB where you can select the thumbnail. There’s a toggle you can use to go forwards or back to choose the image.

Let me give an example. When I post a link from my website like KenPharrellExley.com on my Facebook. The thumbnail image is not what it is suppose to be, it happens to be the first image on my homepage which is my Facebook image if you check my website. I hope this makes more sense. I would like to change that current thumbnail into my actually logo if possible.

Facebook picks up to 5 images of suitable dimensions on WordPress.com. Details here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshootingIf you share the URL manually, your main image is among the choices, but it’s not the first one indeed. Try using smaller social media icons (that Facebook may not recognize) and see if that helps.
Remember that Facebook caches search results so you may have to try again later or ask a friend to share the link for you in order to validate if the changes took effect.

@kenpharrellexley
I clearly understood what you meant as others have reported this same thing previously. :) -

Hey, not to worry. This is a frustration that others have experienced too. Hang in there. :)
