Facebook icon when shared
-
Hello, I have just uploaded my first blog and as people share it onto facebook I’ve noticed that next to the title of the blog there’s a white box where a picture should be. I was wondering how I set this photo so that when people share it, it isn’t just blank?
Thank you,
EmilyThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We have no control over the images that Twitter, Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.

Hi there! Have you set a featured image for your post? Here are the support docs about that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/featured-images/
If that doesn’t work, here are the support docs about FB image thumbnail problems: https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-image-thumbnail/
Hope this helps!

I’m not clear on why you posted that 12 minutes after I answered above. Can you see comment above? -
