Facebook image thumbnail picks the wrong one

    Hi –

    The help text goes:
    “Posts and Pages

    The image Facebook selects for other posts and pages depends on where and how you have uploaded images to your blog, as follows:

    Featured image: if a featured image has been uploaded for a post/page, we will recommend to Facebook that this image be used as a first priority.

    Uploaded images: If you haven’t assigned a Featured Image, we recommend images to Facebook that you have inserted into your post. They are recommended from top to bottom in your post.”

    Ermmm, no. I don’t want to set a featured image (as I like my header image to remain as it is) and often, when I post, the Facebook link has one of the bottom images in the post as the image thumbnail, not the photo at the top (which according to the above should be the recommended one).

    How do I get the right one across to FB?

    Hi

    I have a similar problem with posting to Twitter. I need to have each ‘share’ with Twitter accompanied by a thumbnail.
