Facebook import?

  Hi!
  I have my blog on my own Facebook profile added through Facebook’s RSS function (I then added the WordPress application, even though I didn’t really notice that anything’s changed) and instead of having my blog entries imported to my profile as Notes, as is the case for some of my friends who have their Blogger blogs on there, the Note ends up being the title of the blog entry with my username as its content, and the “View Original Post” link underneath it.
  Is there any way to fix this?

  Hi!
  I already had that feed, and when I added it now again, with the URL excluding “/feed/”, it said that “it was succesfully imported”, but that ”no new blog entries have been found”. I confirmed anyway, but nothing happened?

  You have to add the Feed at the end of the url for it to work then your post will show up between a hour or 2 everytime you make a new post.

  What about previous blog entires?
  And I had it set like that before, but as I said, it had my blog-internal username (not this one) shown instead of the blog content…

  Previous posts won’t show up for the other issue I suggest contacting staff by following this link http://support.wordpress.com/contact/

  I was kind of aware that having the same post on 2 different blogs can damage your search engine ratings, as I only have the one blog that doesn’t really worry me, but, does sending your blog via rss to your Facebook notes section also do the same damage ???

  At the moment if I want a post from this blog to appear to my Facebook friends I simply manually post a link on my wall in Facebook but have been considering setting up notes on Facebook via rss as an alternative.

  And thehappysnapper: I think unless your Facebook profile is a public one, it shouldn’t be indexed by Google and hence does not affect your ratings.

  Hi,
  I’m having the same problem but with my fan pages. The blog posts import in full at first but the next time, it just appears as the title of the blog entry with my wordpress username as its content. If i stop the import, delete the problem posts and then re-start importing, then the posts appear in full again. This is taking me forever each day as its happening with 6 fan pages.
  Anyone know how to fix it??
