Facebook is blocking theloveculture.wordpress.com

  Hi, I’ve been posting and sharing my wordpress blog on FB since 2011 with no problem. Suddenly, it is being blocked and flagged as potentially “unsafe / malicious / abusive” content (but I can assure you, it is not in any way unsafe / malicious / abusive).

  And this is the reason that comes up when I post theloveculture.wordpress.com on https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/: It says this link is blocked, or you have triggered an excessive amount of scrapes. If you think you’re seeing this by mistake, please let us know.

  Error Linting URL An internal error occurred while linting the URL.

  Is there anything that could be fix on this end, from WordPress? Or is this entirely a FB system-problem?

  Hi Mish,
  I have seen a lot of posts like this and from what I can gather this is an issue on the Facebook side but I will tag this post for the staff to take a look and see if they have any additional insight. I hope your error is fixed soon!

  Hi @theloveculture,

  I’m afraid this would be something you would need to resolve directly with Facebook. However, I took a look at your site and shared a post to Facebook today. It looks like this may have been resolved already. Are you able to share your articles to Facebook now?

  Hi Jeremeylduvall, yes. I managed to get it resolved directly with Facebook. Site was unblocked quite late last night. Was going to update here this morning that I’m able to post and share as usual now. Thanks! :- )

  Hi theloveculture/Mish, I am having exactly the same problem with my site :-( and Facebook has deleted ALL my previous statuses with links to my blog! Devastating as it’s my travel blog and this is my penultimate post!

  How quickly did they respond and unblock it, did you just write to them via the ‘report this problem’ button?

  Hi, I’m having the same issue, my unable to post news from my website not even my domain itimes.my. It happen few days back and I manage to unblock last night by appeal, but today they block again. I really don’t know the reason for them to block my site. I have run anti malware to my website and all clean, no malware detected.

  Please advise

  Hi all,

  Regarding this issue, it seems to be a block on the Facebook side so I don’t think there’s anything we can do on the WordPress.com side. If you feel otherwise, please let us know!
