Facebook like box doesn't work?

Hi everyone, n00b here. My facebook like link at the bottom of my post do not seem to work. I think I enabled everything that I should, used original buttons as well. The twitter likes do work, but when the facebook like box is clicked, even after confirmation, the counter stays at zero and nothing is shown on facebook. Not on my profile, but not on my friends’ either. Any idea what’s wrong?

The Facebook like is for Facebook pages, not for Profiles. Have you got a Facebook page?

By facebook like box I mean: ‘hey, I’m a visitor and I like your post, I’m gonna like it on my facebook profile’. The like of my post or page should show up in someone’s FB news feed, right?
No, I do not have a facebook page for my blog yet. Is this a requirement? Will the like refer to my post or to my entire facebook blog page? It should be the first.
