Facebook Like box not showing anything

  Hi.
  I have Sempress as my theme. I am trying to make my Facebook page Eilat Aviram Author connect to my blog and I’ve managed to link it so that the name is there but there’s also a box that remains blank (Black or white but blank) underneath. The link does work but its just a name and not clear that it is a Facebook link. Can you help me sort that out please?
