Facebook "like" box problem

  I just logged onto my site to add a new post when I noticed that my Facebook “like “box on the front page had suddenly grown since earlier this afternoon!

  It is now wider than the main page area and overlaps onto the background area creating an usual visual – to wit:

  I’ve tried resizing it in the Widget page of my dashboard to no avail.

  Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

  great to know that I’m not the only one encountering this new bug (!!!) this morning, wish to hear the solution soon.

  (spent an hour to try to fix this with CSS:

  #facebook-likebox-4 iframe {
  max-width: 70% !important;
  }

  However the widget is just being “cut off” to 70% wide, but NOT resizing, the right part of the widget has disappeared. )

  same problem here.
  The blog i’m having problems with is

  It seems as if FB box had been “re-sized” so it doen´t fit now..

  Facebook has changed the width of their widget to 280px minimum, and has retired the old widget.

  We are looking into the issue, which affects themes with widget areas narrower than 280px. We’ll keep this thread updated.

  The Facebook Like box issue should be resolved for now and you should see the old-style widget again. If your widget looks too narrow, adjust the width in the widget settings.

  We are going to work with Facebook to see if there is a possibility of them offering a more flexible widget that can work with themes that have widget areas narrower than 280px.
