Facebook Like Box Widget not showing in sidebar

  Hi there all,

  I’m hoping someone can help me…. I am trying to display a “Facebook Like” widget in a side bar on my WordPress.com site (see https://bridgendac.wordpress.com/). I have succesfully deployed a Twitter stream using the same kind of widget – but no matter what settings I use for the Facebook widget – all I see is a link to the Facebook page and a large amount of black white space below the link (I’m assuming the size of the box Ive described in the widget settings).

  Can anyone help me in working out what I need to do?

  As can be seen beneath the Facebook Page URL textbox on the Facebook Like Box widget, The Like Box only works with Facebook Pages.

  Bridgend Athletics Club is a Facebook group, not a page. Which is why the widget can’t display anything other than the link to the Facebook group.
