Facebook like button

  I’m new at this and am trying to publish my first blog post. Following the directions I’ve found under support for addition both Facebook share and like buttons, when I preview my page, at the bottom it says facebook, and then the following message: Could not retrieve the specified page. Please verify correct href was passed in

  I’ve no idea what that means. Any help? Thanks

  So I’ve tried these instructions,

  and at first it did at least put a Like button onto my post, but I got the strange message above in my original post. I tried taking everything out and doing it again. Now nothing shows up, not even the Like button.

  Then I tried these instructions, which are the same except for step #10

  I can’t do step #10 because there is no “right down arrow on the Facebook button.”

  So how in the hell does a computer illiterate person like myself find any help or figure any of this out? They sure made it sound easy to set this up when signing up. Nothing could be further from the truth.

  Man, all I had to do was actually publish the blog, and the buttons showed up. They either didn’t show on the preview page or had the weird message. Wish there was some quick and easy support for morons like me…
