  Is it possible to add a facebook ‘like’ button at the bottom of a post on wordpress.com?

  If I am understanding you correctly you are looking to add the icon for Facebook to your blog? To do that you must add a widget. Below you will find a link that will walk you through the steps of adding widgets to your blog.

  The Facebook “Like” button is not available for posts/pages on WordPressdotcom. We only have the Facebook Share button.

  If you have a Facebook Page for your site, you can add the widget to your WordPressdotcom site’s sidebar and people can like your site directly from that widget if they are logged into Facebook. https://en.support.wordpress.com/facebook-integration/#facebook-page-plugin
