Facebook Like Button

  I have tried many times and can not seem to get the Facebook Like button to appear under each post on my blog.

  You can include the Facebook like button bottom of each post and page, and you can now include sharing buttons for your readers to share your content across a range of social networks/services.

  I was interested in the Like Box (hope I am using the correct term). But I wanted the FB Like box where I could add the facepile to see who like the blog site. I see them on other WP blog site. But I keep getting told WP doesn’t offer that.

  Can you help me too.

  Desperately seeking help!

  @beyondthemic Hate to sound like a broken record but yep, WordPress doesn’t offer that.

  So can you explain to me why I currently see it on other people’s blogs? How did they get it. I was just reading information in the forum and my pc decided to shut down. So I am trying to get the information back. So fustrating.

  There are two separate and different types of wordpress. If you are seeing the Facebook like widget on blogs then they are free-standing wordpress.ORG installs. They are not free blogs from and being free hosted by wordpress.COM

  The Facebook like widget code will display as is ONLY on wordpress.ORG installs. If you attempt to post the code for the Facebook like widget on a wordpress.COM blog, the software will strip the code out to preserve security on this multiuser blogging platform.
