Facebook like button for posts

  Help! I’m trying to find a Facebook like button for my individual posts (not the entire blog), but can’t find this anywhere. All the websites seem to say different things and a lot of them I have tried and it doesn’t work. For instance, I have downloaded the supposedly necessary plugins, but can’t figure out where to install them, as there is no plugin menu on wordpress. I don’t know why this is so complicated-I have been searching nearly nonstop for nearly 12 hours and have about reached my limit. Why does wordpress make these things so complicated???? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

  There’s a facebook share option, but not a like.

  And plugins are only for self-hosted wordpress sites.

  but i have gotten it before so i know it’s possible…I’m just not sure how i did it and how to do it again.
