Facebook like button in Slovak
-
Hi, I have a problem with appearance of facebook like button on my blog. I am writing blog in Slovak language and also facebook like button is in my language. “Like” is translated into Slovak as “Páči sa mi to” and this is probably problem, cause it makes button much wider. I can see full button, but I can’t see number of people, who like my posts. I have checked the source code of web page and problem is probably with button’s width attribute, which is only 90. Is there any chance to change this value and solve this problem?
Thanks for your help!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi. It appears that the text of the Facebook button is determined by Facebook themselves, not by WordPress.com:
https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/facebook-like-button-not-in-blogs-language?replies=10If you use Mozilla Firefox, you can right-click on the Facebook Like button, and select This Frame > Show only this frame. That should let you see the number of people.

And just so you know… there is already a huge space after the English “Like” button! So hopefully there will be a compromise to be found, because increasing the value beyond 90 would further increase that blank space.

Thanks for your reply. I know, that text of Facebook Like button is determined by Facebook and now I check number of people on same way as you wrote. Many Slovak pages (not on WordPress.com) use this plugin and everything looks fine, cause width attribute is more than 96px (it’s not 90 as I wrote on first post):
<div class=”like_button”><iframe src=”…” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″
style=”border:none, overflow:hidden; width:96px <- this is problemScreenshot:

<div class=”like_button”><iframe src=”…” scrolling=”no” frameborder=”0″
style=”border:none, overflow:hidden; width:auto <- new valueScreenshot:

Thanx
