Facebook ‘Like’ Counters Read 0 For All of My Posts

    For the last month or so the Facebook ‘Like’ counters for all of my posts now read ‘0’. I know that the posts have many Facebook ‘likes‘ but they are not registering at the bottom of each post. Any help?

    Hi there,

    This is a problem on Facebook’s end, and is affecting all services that use their sharing buttons, not just WordPress.com.

    Facebook’s developers are aware of the issue, but I have no way of telling you when they’ll be able to fix this. Unfortunately there’s nothing we can do to fix this from our end – the button displays data we request from Facebook every time someone loads your page, and at the moment Facebook is simply not sending that data.

    An aside, note that your plan gives you access to both live chat and direct email support. You can reach those at any time by clicking the Help icon that appears bottom-right on all the My Sites pages, or else via the direct link at https://wordpress.com/help/contact
