Facebook Likes now appearing on Blog Post

I have tried removing and adding Facebook to my wordpress publicize option and also done vice versa on my facebook account. However, the facebook likes I get once I share the blogpost on Facebook do not appear on my sharing icons below my post. For my first post it came through. My second post only a few came through and now for my third post nothing has come through – whereas on my FB account I have received many likes. What could be the issue.
