Facebook & LinkedIn – Double entry of updated post

  I would love to use the “publicize” functionality to announce new posts. However, I’m confused by the behavior of the Facebook & LinkedIn vs the Twitter publicity – namely, with both Facebook & LinkedIn, when I update a post, each feed gets a new entry for each update, essentially doing double-entry for those updated posts. Twitter only shows a single entry for the feed.

  I want to update/edit my posts after publication without spamming my feed – how can I do that without managing the publicity manually?

  I’ve got the same problem. The publicize feature looks like this:

  Publicize: Facebook (2), Twitter Edit Settings

  No matter what I do I can’t get rid of the second (exactly the same) Facebook option. Whenever I post, the update appears twice on my Facebook page.
