Facebook links and advertisments – Ad free package????

I just upgraded my account to the ad free package, and every time I post a link from my blog onto to Facebook, an unsolicited advert is linked to the post – this does not happen when I post links from any other website, only with wordpress. How do I change this?

Hi there,
Even if you do not have the “No Ads” upgrade, advertisements should not be included in posts on your Facebook page from WordPress.com.
Could you please take a screenshot of these advertisements that you’re getting and upload them to your Media Library? You can paste a link to the image right here so I can see it.

Thanks for getting back to me. So I’ve added a screen shot of my Facebook page to my media library. The link is

The ad I’m referring to is the ” raising awareness about genetically modified foods…” paragraph under my link. It doesn’t happen with any other links I post from other websites and it’s quite misleading as people think my blog is about activism, which it isn’t. Please help.

Ah, I see what you mean! Thank you so much for providing that screenshot, it really helped me understand what you’re talking about.
At this point anything I could tell you would be a complete guess as to what is happening with this issue, but that definitely should not be happening! I’ve put this issue in front of our developers and as soon as I have any additional information for you, I will let you know!
