Facebook Page Role WordPress Issue
-
Good Day. For some reason now on my facebook page I’m no longer the admin and now it it says the admin is WordPress App System User. How do I disassociate wordpress from my facebook page so I can have admin access again?
Thank you,
Jon
I don’t have a site linked to this WordPress.com account

Hey Jon, that’s odd! It sounds like this isn’t actually related to our services, especially since you don’t have any sites on this account yet.
But we’d be happy to dig deeper to confirm. Could you send a link to the page, as well as to the site you’ve connected it to, if you’ve done that?

Hi There,
The facebook page is:https://www.facebook.com/RealBrazilFoodie
The website was http://www.brazilfoodie.com but recently changed to http://www.airdriefoodie.com but not sure if the change has been made yet as it takes up to 48hrs.Cheers,
Jon

Thanks for the additional info. I can confirm that We can’t help directly because we don’t host brazilfoodie.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (GoDaddy) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. I did do some research though, and it seems that the error message you are mentioning is often related to the plugin Facebook for WooCommerce. Do you happen to have this plugin installed on your site?
We do not develop that plugin here on WordPress.com so we’re not familiar with how to troubleshoot it, but I did see that this person had a similar issue to yours:
If that does not help I would recommend reaching out to the support team for that plugin, as your recent address change may be at issue here as well. You can start a new post here: https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/facebook-for-woocommerce/
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.
