Hi Maria
I’m sorry, but it’s not possible to add the Facebook pixel to a WordPress.com site. Here’s a forum post that explains it in detail.

Hope this helps.

Hi there,
The thread @melindahelt referenced is over two years old and no longer accurate.
While the Facebook tracking pixel uses JavaScript which is not allowed here, their code also includes a noScript version that does work. You’ll need to paste their code into a text wigdet in either your site’s footer or sidebar. Make sure to select a widget area that is always visible on your site. The JavaScript code will be stripped out automatically, but the noScript version will remain, and Facebook will be able to track that.

Thanks for the update, @kokkieh!
Even though this thread is 2 months old and closed, could you please update here as well? https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/facebook-pixel-1?replies=1 TIA!

I’ve replied there.
I’ll perhaps just qualify this and say that the last time someone showed me the code for the Facebook pixel it did include a noscript option. As I don’t use this myself I don’t know if Facebook has since changed this.
If you want, please paste the code you got from Facebook here for me. Click the Code button above the text box, paste the code, and then click the code button again. Then I can make sure for you, and other users, that the Facebook code still includes this option.
