Facebook plugin not showing

  hi, I just installed the facebook plugin widget and added my site information.
  When I visit my site and click the word ‘facebook’ which shows in the side bar then it takes me to my facebook page so it is working but no content is showing beneath it. there is just blank space.
  any suggestions?n
