facebook post featured image

  hello, my WordPress site automatically posts my blogs to my faceboook page, but instead of the featured image for that post displaying, its my header image for my site. Ive already run the Open Graph Object Debugger from facebook and dont see any problems. Can you help me? how do i get my posts to display the featured image of my blog on facebook? thank you!!

  Hi there.

  From personal experience I’ve found that sometimes one needs to run the debugger on Facebook few times before it sticks, so please try that.

  I see you have a self-hosted site, so I assume you’re using the Jetpack plugin to publicize to Facebook. Please try contacting Jetpack support directly, and ask in the Jetpack forum on WordPress.org:

  Staff here might be able to do something from this side, so I’ll tag this thread for them as well. If you get this resolved via one of the other options I mentioned above before staff answers here, please let me know so I can remove the tag again.

  awesome, thank you for the info. i tried debugging quite a few more times to no effect. I’ll contact jetpack support and see what they say.
