Facebook publicize not working for mobile app Facebook

I have connected my WordPress blog to Facebook and am using the Publicize feature to share my newest blogposts with Facebook. This functionality does appear to be working (at least for the desktop version of Facebook) as I can see my posts on my Facebook blog page’s timeline.
However, in Facebook’s mobile app it’s not working and I don’t see any of my recent posts. I have several mobile devices running various versions of iOS and Facebook app including one device I updated to the most current versions of both just yesterday. I’m not seeing the blogposts come through on my timeline on any of these devices.
Why is it working for desktop but not for mobile? And how can I fix this please?

If I understand correctly your shared post doesn’t come up in Facebook on your mobile phone? Have you tried swiping down to refresh the timeline?

Of course I have refreshed the timeline. As I said in my post, I checked this on numerous devices and even updated the app and OS to the latest versions.
Publicize clearly works for desktop Facebook but not for the mobile version. Do you have any insights on this?

Publicize shares the post to Facebook, there is no different between a desktop or mobile version of Facebook. I think your timeline is sorted to show ‘top stories’ first instead of ‘most recent. This is a feature on Facebook’s end. Sorry about the confusion. Either way, it seems Facebook filters posts differently depending on the device. They use algorithms to decide what to show you. This is something we can’t control.
