Facebook Publicize – Thumbnails

  How can I post pictures when I publicize to facebook ?? I have images in my posts, I would like them to appear the same as when you manually share something.

  We have no control over which image Facebook selects or over when they clear their image caches. Please see:

  Only the first five images uploaded to a post (direct inclusion/gallery/slideshow) will be sent to Facebook. The images size has to be at least 200 x 200 pixels.
  To select which image will be used for things like Facebook Publicize, you can use a theme that supports featured images. If a featured image isn’t set or your theme doesn’t use featured images, then the code tries to pick the first image in the post or page. If no image is found, then the blavatar is used. http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#troubleshooting

  That is so lame, why does it have to be 200×200 to post ? It doesn’t have to be that way to share so what is the difference. Just do it. ugh ..

  That’s “at least 200 x 200 pixels”. And chances are those are Facebook’s guidelines, not WP.com’s.
