Facebook push wrong images

    We are using the facebook push to our Page. However, it continues to send the wrong image with the post. We have to delete everything from WordPress. It is not using the image in the body of the post. Rather, it is using an image from the Instagram widgit. Can you help us stop that?

    Hi there,

    When we publicize your posts to Facebook, we send Facebook the image (or images) from your post. You can see exactly what we send to Facebook by entering the link to your post in Facebook’s debugger here:

    https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug

    Unfortunately, sometimes Facebook ignores the information we send and chooses a different image to put with your post. It sounds like that’s what is happening with your blog. In cases like that, there’s nothing we can do — it’s up to Facebook to select the images in the end.

    If there’s a particular post or posts you would like me to look at, I would be happy to investigate to see if something else is going on. You can give me the link to one or two posts where the wrong image was posted on Facebook, and I’ll take a look.
