Facebook Referrer

  Hi there!

  Today for some odd reason I am getting tons of hits from a facebook referrer. I am not on facebook, so I’m a bit baffled as to how one person sharing my post could generate so many hits (I mean I don’t understand how facebook works), but my question is actually if there is any way to find out who shared it? Maybe so I can thank them or something? :) Or really, I suppose, to see if it was someone I know or not. Also, when people share a blog post on facebook, do they say why they are sharing it, or just link up?

  To add to what I told the other person, yes, on Facebook, if people share a post they can add their personal message, in a similar fashion to a friend emailing the link of a website to another friend:
