Facebook sees articles on my blog as dangerous content

    Hello helpdesk,

I have an urgent question: has my blog been hacked? Does my blog contain malware? Do you see anything unusual. The reason for this is the following:

I have recently opened the account

    https://fullpictureofclimatechange.wordpress.com/

I posted a link to these articles on my timeline on Facebook. When people try to click on this link, they are not driected directly, instead people have to click on follow link to be redirected.

When I try to sent the link with a pm in Facebook, they say the website contains dangerous content.

I asked them why, but they won’t answer

The links in question on Facebook are

    http://tinyurl.com/LetterFriend0402

    http://tinyurl.com/BriefVriend0402

    http://tinyurl.com/BriefAlgemeen3101

    http://tinyurl.com/LetterGeneral3101

They are shortened links for articles on my blog

Please urgently look if you can find any reason why Facebook gives this message

    Thank you,

    Jan-Willem

It’s probably because one of the sites you’ve linked to contains malware. Look at the different posts you’ve listed: then look at the links in each post. If there’s only one website you’ve linked to in all those posts, then that’s the one and you should take that link out.

    Thanks for the reaction.

But the only sites I’ve linked to are from WordPress. Certainly a professional organization like WordPress should check on malware very thoroughly?

Generally it does. And WP.COM sites (as opposed to WP.ORG sites) cannot host malware themselves.

Are you hotlinking any images? If so, that’s what’s the problem; one of the images is infected, or from a suspicious site.

Thanks for the reaction. I had no pictures in the document, and I checked if Facebook had any difficulties with the links in the article by putting them temporarily on my timeline. Since Facebook had no difficulties with the link eighter, it remains a mystery. I have no difficulties opening the link outside Facebook

I have solved the problem by making an entirely new weblog with the same content on WordPress, and putting a new link on FB. Until now FB is not complaining about the new link. Their helpdesk has still not responded to my many requests for help.

Maybe you are interested in the article on my new weblog. I think the subject, climate change, concerns everybody!
