Facebook share button count
-
I’ve read through a few threads on here about the topic, but I am still not understanding.
“You will now be able to see what your users are sharing and what services they are using to do so in your blog stats. Only the standard share links are counted, so if you are using the “Official” buttons or the Facebook Share/Like button, then the stats for these shares will not be counted.”
As of this writing, the Facebook share button at the bottom of my recent post shows as 52.
does that mean 52 people have clicked that specific button on my post page?
or
have 52 people just copy and pasted the link to their Facebook status update?
or
have 52 people clicked share under a friend’s post of my post?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I believe it means that 52 people clicked the sharing link below your post.
How could wordpress.com software possibly reflect who copied and pasted a link into a browser bar and clicked it or who “clicked share under a friend’s post of my post”?
