Facebook share Button doesn't show thumbnail image

  Well, the problem is fixed now that we commented out that code. But the way Facebook sharing previews work is that when someone shares a link, Facebook saves all that information. That way, the next time someone shares the link they’ve already got it ready for them.

  Since you had all those previous posts with the extra og:image code, Facebook already has a bunch of previews saved for all the old links.

  When I ran the Facebook debugger for those most recent URLs, Facebook re-saved the new version of your site where the image works. So those URLs should all be good for everyone going forward.

  And every new post you create will be fine too.

  But any old posts that Facebook already has information saved for will keep doing the blank image until that URL is run through the debugger.

  It looks like you have around 100 posts… that’s probably more posts than it’s worth running through the debugger one by one. But I’d recommend doing it for your most recent 10 or so, and any other posts that are still seeing lots of traffic.
