Facebook Share Button Not Working

    Facebook Share Icon not showing
    Hi there – I am having trouble getting my facebook share button installed and working. I have followed suggestions on previous support posts with no joy. Please can you kindly advise. Many thanks – regards – Ellen.

    Are you talking about the “share this” icons at the bottom of each post? If so, it looks like you have a Facebook button there, but it says “like” instead of “facebook” if you’d rather have a “share” button you can change how those buttons appear under button styles on the Settings>sharing page.

    If you are trying to get your posts to share directly to Facebook with the publicize feature sometimes the connection gets messed up and you have to turn it off and back on. Here’s how you reconnect services: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-services

    If you are trying to include a piece of code from facebook in a text widget, or in some other way install outside code on your site, that won’t work–http://en.support.wordpress.com/code/

    But there are lots of ways to get connected to Facebook so hopefully one of the first two ways I shared, or one of the existing Facebook widgets will help you achieve your goals.
