Add topic to favorites
It seems that my Facebook share counter is not working. I’m talking about the blog post itself. The Twitter share button always shows share counts, but the Facebook share button doesn’t. And according to my Stats, there have been some shares to Facebook. Thanks for your help. I am using the Confit Theme.

I read through it in its entirety, and I don’t see that it will resolve the issue, unless it’s simply Facebook’s problem. I just know that my stats show 9 Facebook shares on 8 different posts, and I can’t find a single Facebook share button which shows a share count. My most recent post, “Seeds Family Worship,” shows no share count, and I know for a fact that someone shared it on Facebook (not just a link), because they told me and I saw it. It almost seems like my Facebook share counter is turned off or something, because Twitter’s is working just fine. If you have any other ideas, I would really appreciate it!

The share count reflected at the bottom of your posts on your blog represents only those who clicked into your post on the blog and then clicked the share link there.

I know someone shared that one on Facebook, because I saw their post (and not just a link). But it doesn’t show up in my stats. Or in the share count in the post.

This one shows two Facebook shares in my stats, but still no share counts on the page itself.

It may be that I’m just confused about how it’s supposed to work. I don’t have a Facebook page, so I haven’t personally tested it.

I’m not seeing any shares recorded by Facebook for the post you linked. I’m checking this by entering your post’s URLs into Facebook’s Share Button previewer:
