facebook share count not showing up at my new blog address

  The previous Facebook and twitter share counts for the individual posts are not showing up in the new address that I purchased. The old facebook and twitter shares counts are being excluded becoming zero when I switch to my newly acquired address. I host my blog at bollywoodbingo.wordpress.com and the new address of my blog is Bollywoodjournalist.com.

  I purchased a new address for my blog which I host at bollywoodbingo.wordpress.com. The new address that I purchased is bollywoodjournalist.com.
  My problem is that the facebook and twitter shares (the count of how many people had shared my posts) of my earlier posts are not showing up when I make the new address my primary domain.
  Would appreciate help!

  Hi there,

  The way that Facebook and Twitter keep track of likes and shares is via the address of a page. If you have updated the address of your page, then they have no way knowing that any of your posts have already been shared or liked (because they appear to be brand new links coming from bollywoodjournalist.com rather than bollywoodbingo.wordpress.com). As such, they show as having a count of zero and there is no way to adjust that number.
