Facebook Share Counts Are Missing

    I use the icon and text buttons for sharing posts on social media. The Facebook button used to show counts on individual poss. It no longer does. How do I get the counts back? The blog with which I need help is interruptingthesilence.com.

    Hi there,

    Facebook deprecated some portions of their API today, including the method we used to get and display these share counts on these styled buttons. If you’d like to continue displaying those share counts on your site you’ll need to use the official buttons in Settings > Sharing. You can change the dropdown from Icon + text to Official Buttons.

    Hello. I have also lost my Facebook share count. Seemed to revert, one day it was 174 shares, the next day back to 1. It has only occurred on my most recent posts, the others seem fine – and I am using office buttons, as directing in Settings.

    Can anyone advise on what I have suddenly developed this problem, post, post (so to speak) Facebook deprecating some portions of their API et al (Staff explanatory post above).

    Advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
