Facebook Share description

    I’m a newbie and I’ve set up a blog on WordPress.com

    Whenever I share a post to Facebook, it ads the text from my blog to the description of the share. Is there a way to change what that description is? I’ve looked into using Meta Tags but it doesn’t seem to allow me to do it.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi,
    When you create a new post, before you publish it, you’ll notice that in the Sharing section on the left, you can select all the social media where you want to share your post, and you’ll find a box that says “If you would like a custom message to appear before the link to your post, enter it below:” Use this option to add a description that will appear on your sharing.
