Facebook Share Image Using Photo from Author Bio?
-
I recently made a post on my WordPress.com blog, and used the built-in sharing functionality to auto-share that post on a Facebook page. In the past, when I’ve done this, the image that is associated with the link on Facebook is taken from the first image that I embed in the post. Now, however, it seems to be taking my Gravatar photo off of the author bio on the bottom of the post instead of the image from the actual post.
Is there a way that this can get fixed, or some other way to dictate the default image that will get used when sharing a post onto Facebook?

Unfortunately, we cannot assist you with this. When using Publicize, we have no control over the images that Facebook chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
