Facebook share link not working

    Last month the ‘share to FB’ option was greyed out so I had to share the link manually to my page. Yesterday, it looked like it was back and available, so I posted my blog, expecting it (and the tag line) to show up on my FB page, but alas, I had to do it manually again. Is this another change to ostracise those of us who want to stick to a classic page design? Or is it a glitch.

    Hi there!

    Your ability to share items to Facebook has no bearing on how your site is set up.

    Looking at your site’s Facebook connection, we’re seeing 401 Error validating access token error messages. These errors usually stem from changing your Facebook account password or the authorization token on Facebook’s end has expired.

    Can you reset your Publicize connection for Facebook and see if that fixes the problem? Please ensure you follow the step to delete the app association on Facebook to fully disable the existing application token before reconnecting from your Dashboard.

    Fixing this connection won’t send out posts already published, but it should work the next time you make a new post.
