Facebook share statistics

  I am noticing that on the page of the article I wrote, it shows that there was 5 people who shared it on facebook, but then on my account, it shows as 1 share. How can I tell which number is accurate?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  The Facebook share button on your posts counts shares, likes and comments made on that post link on social media etc. (Twitter button does the same.) And the share counter in your stats counts only shares. So there can be the difference in numbers.
