Facebook Sharing

  I am trying to insert the Facebook Sharing button at the bottom of my blog – however, every time I select the Facebook Sharing icon it only allows people to “like” my post. How do I get a Facebook button that allows people to share my blog via Facebook?

  I have already linked my FB account with the Publicize function as well.

  Hi there!

  When you use the “official” buttons under Settings -> Sharing, the Facebook button will display the number of likes your post has received on Facebook as that how Facebook’s official button operates.

  I would recommend switching to the “Icon + Text” buttons to see if they work better for you. Those buttons don’t show sharing counts, but the Facebook button will work as a sharing button rather than a like button.

  Do you know how to edit the Like section as well to include Facebook likes down there?

  We don’t have an official way to have both buttons display at the same time.

  However one of our community members has a thread with a way to show both at the same time:

  It’s a multi-page thread, so you may need to read through to see how to set this up.
