Facebook Sharing Counter

  My Facebook Sharing Counts get reset to ZERO for some of my posting. How to fix that? My posting last night got “4” sharing on Facebook and then it was set to Zero. Why is that? Thanks for helping!!

  I’m afraid the FB share counter has always been glitchy. For what it’s worth, it underreports, rather than overreports.

  My facebook sharing counter has been reset to zero. My current post had 18, the previous was 56. Is there any way to reinstate the info? My blog is ginaleftthemall.com

  From what we’ve seen, this happens occasionally for no apparent reason. That information is returned to the blog by Facebook, so we don’t actually have control over those numbers.

  I wish I had a better answer, but we simply can’t do much when it’s a third-party issue.
