Facebook sharing issue
-
I have no idea what’s going on here…
I connected to Facebook on the share page with my personal profile. Then I changed the settings to publicize to my blog’s page, and not my personal page. However, when I try to publish a new post, I get this error: “Facebook Page-only accounts can not be used at this time. Please see this support document for more information.”
Yet I connected with my personal Facebook page, and it was fine and connected until I tried to publish. What am I missing here?!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Please try the full reconnect procedure detailed at http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#reconnecting-facebook including step 3 (removing the FB app), which is probably the most important step. Any limitation against Page-only accounts is imposed by Facebook and there’s nothing that we can do about it. Alternatively you can use Networked Blogs http://www.networkedblogs.com/ or RSS Grafitti http://www.facebook.com/RSS.Graffiti for posting to Facebook walls if you prefer.
RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify.
You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.

Thanks for the help. I already tried the full reconnect procedure several time with no success. It doesn’t make any sense, I’m connected with my personal page, it lets me choose to publicize to my page, says it’s connected… but then fails when I try to publish anything.
Oh well, I guess. I’ll look into RSS Graffiti, thanks for the suggestion.

You can connect it to a Page, you just can’t use it to publish to a Page. Lots of people have the same problem. I used Networked Blogs, but you can use RSS graffitti or any other similar thing.
