Facebook sharing: no picture or description

    Hi there,

    When sharing a post via facebook, the usual thumbnail, post title, and first paragraph doesnt show. Instead, what goes up on fb is just the blog url, twice. It looks something like this:

    clydemeetsworld.wordpress.comclydemeetsworld.wordpress.com

    Again, there’s no pic / thumbnail at all, no post title, no nothing. Just the line above.

    This problem only started recently, around the turn of the new year, coinciding with some recent upgrades to the site that were done.

    Please help fix this soon. I’ve tried googling for a solution, but I’m a computer dummy and most of the solutions talk about codes and plugins and tags and other similarly confusing words i know nothing about.

    I even changed my theme to see if this would make a difference, but my efforts proved futile. Do get back to me as soon as you can. By email would be great: (email visible only to moderators and staff)

    We have no control over the images that Facebook or any other social networks chooses to display or when they choose to flush their image caches. We really only send them the URL of the post, and they hunt through that for the excerpt and images to include.
