facebook sharing shows random followers on facebook page – not my pictures
-
I automatically share to a facebook page. Occasionally one of my wordpress followers face will appear on facebook, instead of the published picture.

When you use Publicize to share to Facebook automatically, Facebook looks through the page’s meta data to figure out what image to share along with it. If it’s showing your follower’s face, it’s likely grabbing that photo from your Recent Comments widget, one of the last places Facebook looks.
The best way to control these shares is to set a featured image, that’s the first place Facebook looks.

If you want to fix that share in particular, edit the post, set a featured image, then update the post.
Next, visit Facebook’s object tool here:

Enter the URL to your post, then click “Fetch new scrape information,” Facebook will recrawl your site and attempt to find the best photo/text possible for its preview. It will select the featured image.
The next time this URL shared, the new information will appear.
